We
are a small farm in Hampton, Ontario. We grow Peaches and Cream Sweet corn and we make our own Maple syrup. We believe in Regenerative agriculture methods which is reduction in chemical inputs and a extensive rotation of cover crops to produce a weed free healthy crop. We improve our soil health by growing cover crops
including Oats, Vetch, Crimson Clover and Austrian Winter Peas. Buying local, farm fresh Organic produce guaranties same day freshness and the survival of small local farms. We also have a equipment repair shop and Farm store.
Hazelnuts!
We planted our Walnut, Heartnut and Hazelnut trees in 2020. Our Hazelnuts should be in full production next year!
Sweet Peaches and Cream Corn
We plant 4 different
varieties and multiple plots at different times. We add an abundance of organic matter and fertilizers along with the use of organic cover crops including Oats, Vetch, Crimson Clover and Austrian Winter Peas. We have a farm stand and its open in the Summer. We also sell wholesale sweet corn in various sizes. Non-Summer hours are appointment only.
Maple Syrup!
Our Sugar Bush is in the Muskoka district where we have an old traditional wood fired evaporator in our Sugar shack. Family and friends take part in the gathering and boiling of the Majestic Muskoka maple sap and we enjoy the sweet smell of the sap and wood burning in the spring air. Our buckets and lines go out in March and we boil the sap down, triple filter it to make yummy Golden Maple Syrup. We always use glass bottles as to the maple syrup is better preserved and will not lose colour over time.
Fresh Ontario Berries and Jams
We also carry a variety of Ontario Fresh Berries and homemade jams when they are in season and will be available at our new Farm Store in 2025
